Description:

Mindful Hatha-vinyasa style yoga that focuses on accessible & conscious movement, meditation and pranayama. Asana are explored in a flowing and mindful way so students can connect to their own rhythm and pace, and focus on transitions synchronized with their breathing. Props are encouraged for modifications, allowing accessible options for most bodies. 

The Spring season focuses on balancing Earth + Water elements. Includes energizing pranayama, sweat-inducing movement and asana, and restorative savasana.

Description:

This style of yoga was developed by B.K.S. Iyengar, one of the foremost yoga masters from India who brought yoga to the western world. This style approaches each posture with clear alignment principles and implements the use of a variety of props such as blocks, bolsters, straps, the wall, chairs, blankets and more. The props support the practitioner to experience the form of each posture according to what their bodies need to properly align, balance and breathe. This class has a weekly focus such as backbends, standing balance, inversions, or restorative postures.

Description:

This class integrates mindfulness, flexibility, focus, & balance and is suitable for all levels. Divided in two parts, the first half hour focuses on gentle warm-up and flexibility asana to prepare for the vinyasa flow and balancing postures in the second half of the class. Option to join for half or combine both for the full hour. This class will leave you refreshed and ready for your next commitment with prompt starting and ending times.

Description:

This class begins with conscious, whole-body movement, joint mobility & fascia release methods, nerve care, and eases into restorative yoga postures. Restorative yoga postures prioritize rest & relaxation, using props to completely support the body so that no muscular engagement is needed to experience the energetic quality of every shape - This is a practice of receiving. 

This series is for those who want to create a supportive routine of self-care for any season.

Ayurvedic Yoga with Emily is a holistic approach to creating a supportive and personalized daily practice or dinacharya specifically tailored to the individual and their constitution or dosha, intention or sankalpa, lifestyle, time of life, the seasonal energies and more. 

An asana practice is one aspect of the session. Includes open discussion + questions, pulse assessment, hands-on adjustments if/when necessary, modifications to fit individual needs, and appropriate lifestyle recommendations to work on in between sessions.

Online appointments are also available for remote clients.

Community Sound Healings are offered throughout the year, aligning with astrological events such as Solstices, Equinoxes, New Moons or retrograde times. Each Sound gathering is unique to the time, and includes gentle movement, meditation and/or Yoga Nidra, and sound immersion with crystal + Himalayan singing bowls, Koshi bells, tuning forks, harmonium and more. Plenty of bolsters, blankets and props are available to create a comfortable position to fully immerse in the experience. Attendees are also encouraged to bring their own props (ie: extra pillows, cushions, blankets) or items to ensure their comfort.

Private Sound Healing

Private, one-on-one, or small group sessions are available by appointment in studio and/or on location. Emily is a life-long and classically trained musician, with a passion for holding space for recalibration and connection. She utilizes an array of instruments that hold high and lower frequencies such as crystal and bronze singing bowls, Koshi bells, tuning forks, harmonium and more. Sound Healing can be profound, sometimes subtle, and is always unique to the present moment and individual(s) receiving the sounding. Sessions can vary in approach, from grounding work to chakra balancing + energy work.
