Begins with conscious, whole-body movement, joint mobility, fascia release methods, nerve care, and eases into restorative yoga postures to encourage deep relaxation, meditation and relaxation. Restorative postures promote rest & relaxation, utilizing props to completely support the body so that no muscular engagement is needed to experience the energetic quality of every shape - receiving rather than doing.
This series is for those who want to ease back into their yoga practice (possibly after a long break) or create a supportive routine of self-care for any season.

Description:
Mindful Hatha-vinyasa style yoga that focuses on accessible & conscious movement, meditation and pranayama. Asana are explored in a flowing and mindful way so students can connect to their own rhythm and pace, and focus on transitions synchronized with their breathing. Props are encouraged for modifications, allowing accessible options for most bodies.
This season focuses on balancing Earth + Water elements. Includes energizing pranayama, sweat inducing movement and asana, and restorative savasana.

Description:
This style of yoga was developed by B.K.S. Iyengar, one of the foremost yoga masters from India who brought yoga to the western world. This style approaches each posture with clear alignment principles and implements the use of a variety of props such as blocks, bolsters, straps, the wall, chairs, blankets and more. The props support the practitioner to experience the form of each posture according to what their bodies need to properly align, balance and breathe. This class has a weekly focus such as backbends, standing balance postures, inversions, or restorative.

Community Sound Healings are offered throughout the year, aligning with astrological events such as Solstices, Equinoxes, New Moons or retrograde times. Each Sound gathering is unique to the time, and includes gentle movement, meditation and/or Yoga Nidra, and sound immersion with crystal + Himalayan singing bowls, Koshi bells, tuning forks, harmonium and more. Plenty of bolsters & blankets are available to create a comfortable position to fully immerse in the experience. Attendees are also encouraged to bring their own props (ie: extra pillows, cushions, blankets) or items to ensure their comfort.

Traditionally, yoga was taught in an individualized setting with the teacher and student. Ayurvedic Yoga is a holistic approach to creating a personalized daily practice or dinacharya specifically attuned to the individual and their constitution, intention, lifestyle, time of life, the season and more.
An asana practice is one aspect of the session, along with open discussion, questions, hands-on adjustments if/when necessary, modifications to fit individual needs, and appropriate lifestyle recommendations to work on in between sessions.

Private Sound Healing is tuned specifically to the individual needs of those receiving the sounding. Sessions can vary from grounding work, chakra balancing, energy release, and more.
Sometimes a group setting can feel too overstimulating, and a more personalized tune in is needed.
